How hot does your Saunas get and good Sauna habits? We keep our saunas between 65°C and 90°C — the ideal range for rich, steamy löyly (the Finnish word for the spirit of the steam) and for getting the most health benefits from your session. In traditional Finnish style, we recommend doing 3–4 rounds of hot/cold contrast therapy. Your cold plunge can be as simple as a garden hose, river, ocean, or even a roll in the snow — but we always recommend a proper cool-down phase to let your body reset. We also invite you to treat the sauna as a sacred, healing space — a place to slow down, reconnect, and keep conversations intentional and meaningful for everyone sharing the heat.
-
Can children use the sauna?Yes — absolutely! We recommend shorter sessions for comfort, especially for younger children. In Finland, it’s common for kids to enjoy the sauna as part of everyday life. Ultimately, it’s up to each parent’s discretion — you know your child best. Just keep it relaxed, playful, and make sure they stay hydrated and cool off properly between rounds.
